Cherry rhum and Roman relics

Since I have been happily reunited with my laptop (which I posted to myself to Santiago and it wasn't stolen- whee!) I have some photos of the south of France that I visited before I started the camino. I now understand why so many artists found inspiration here.Wrought iron balconies, aquaducts, amphitheatres, feria, wine cafes, mosaics, red bandanas, pale blue shutters. The Spanish influence peeks through here, made me heart sore thinking about the bull fights that are still celebrated today. But then I walked on and street art peeked through too and inspired me again.
