The Pineapple

My first London exhibition had a concept close to my heart: pubs! 10 artists were given 10 pubs in Kentish Town, and asked to redesign their logos. I had the most feminine Victorian one allocated to me (yay!), what a treat it was to visit The Pineapple, true to my wallpaper-loving, antique-adoring self. The exhibition was organised, among others, by those 2 lovely ladies of the KenDitch Collective, London curators to keep an eye on I think. An evening of champale (champagne + ale), networking, diverse artworks, good times.

Sneaky sketches

Oh how I love to sneakily sketch people. And London's tubes and overgrounds are the perfect setting to indulge in this habit of mine.

"A year of snow, a year of plenty"

Dalmation spotting in the snow, a park full of dinosaurs, rows of sleeping trees, ice-skating coots, morning dog outings, hazy streets, blankets of light in black and white, suspended snow in the sky. What magic I have seen in such a short space of time here in London.

I love you more than choc-chip cookies

To say my man has a bit of a sweet tooth is an understatement. So baking something chocolate-y was the result for this Valentine's Day. Nom nom.

And warmth will come to you

Busy streets and secret kisses, Chinese dragons and clean courtyards, Wilde plays and strewn poppys, chimney sweepers and black beauties, street artists and stickers. Even though it's cold outside, I saw warmth in the London crowd.
